Company History
Dakine Wave Limited was formed in January 2003.
The U.K. Government's Department of Trade and Industry conferred a Smart Award on the company in August 2003 for its work on "Creative Virtual Reality Applications".
That work culminated in the launch of VirtualStage in October 2004.
Since then, whilst continuing to develop VirtualStage, Dakine Wave's engineers have been engaged on a number of software applications in a variety of exciting and cutting edge areas.

Dakine Wave is a highly innovative company, intent on becoming world leaders in intelligent software and interactive graphics applications. We are specialists in simulations, artificial intelligence and GUIs for smart devices.

Dakine Wave is based near Wakefield, West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. It also has a presence in Vermont, U.S.A.
